Pathway Pilot Training
Pre-requisite
You need to have completed a Private Pilots Licence (PPL) before starting commercial pilot training. This is a regulatory requirement by the CAA for any modular course. We can arrange this.
Our Course
- Residential / Distance Learning ATPL groundschool located at Rosyth in Scotland for PPL holders.
- Instructor-led personalised tuition covering in depth all 14 subjects required for the CAA ATPL exams. Morning lectures and afternoon instructor-led tutorials. IPad based.
- Residential Course is 6 months fully residential follwed by 4 months self study and is divided into 5 modules of roughly 2 months with 3 exams taken at the end of each module to spread the load.
- Distance learning is 10-12 months and is divided into 5 flexible modules of 2 months with 3 exams taken at the end of each module after several days of intensive residential revision.
- You can join the course at the beginning of any module and take the exams locally when ready.

PRICES
Residential Hybrid Course (a must for those new to aviation)
£4950 (including VAT) - complete 6-month residential + 4 months self study ATPL groundschool course covering all exam topics.
Distance Learning Option (for more experienced pilots)
£2200 (including VAT) - flexible over 10-12 months with residential revision days prior to exams.
Notes:
- Good value accommodation is readily available on site or in Dunfermline, but not included in price. Typically £225/month for shared flat.
- CAA exams can be taken locally : their fees are not included (currently £69 per exam).
- Personal iPad needed for course material and accessing question banks.
