Changes To ATPL Exams - Old & New LOs and Comparator Spreadsheet (All ATPL Subjects)

The links to the Learning Objectives (LOs) for the "Old" Syllabus (in current use for ATPL exams until mid 2020) and the "New" Syllabus (available from Jul 2020) are given below with a detailed Comparator Spreadsheet of the differences in each subject.

The last enrolment on the "Old" Syllabus will be Jun 2020 and the ECQB questions will be available in both syllabi for an 18-month overlap period until Jan 2022.  No exams on the "Old" Syllabus will be available after this date, so any exam series started on the "Old Syllabus" up to Jun 2020 (last enrolment date) must be fully completed before Jan 2022.

Throughout all EASA nations, the "New" Syllabus will involve totally new EASA ECQB exam questions based on these "New" LOs - necessitating new reference and course material in most subjects.  Also, the 2 Comms exams will be combined. The "New" syllabus will also include mandatory KSA100 (Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes) assessments.  A Completion Certificate that includes your Exam passes and KSA100 assessments will then be needed for all commercial licence applications to any EASA NAA.
