Vacancy for TKI: Subject : Gen Nav

TKI Vacancy from Feb 2023

Existing TKIs or experienced pilots (or aviation engineers) wanted part time to teach budding commercial pilots the theoretical knowledge needed to prepare them for the 13 EASA & CAA ATPL exams. Subjects [ATPL(A)] becoming available in summer 2023 is: General Nav. Teaching of this subject is to residential classes, involving around 6 days teaching per module. Modules of around 2 months duration occur every 6 months and each subject recurs every 6 months. Our mainly classroom-based business is located at Rosyth near Edinburgh Airport. Teaching reference material will be provided, good flexibility with teaching commitments within the module. TK Instructors will normally need to be available 2 or 3 times for 2-3 consecutive days to teach their subject in the relevant module; the teaching dates for each subject are planned well in advance. Would particularly suit recently retired or part-time airline pilots keen to pass on their skills and knowledge to the next generation. Shadowing of current lectures could be arranged if required for inexperienced TKIs before taking over a subject.
